Scott was appointed to the board in August 2020. He grew up in Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon High School. He was interested in law enforcement at an early age and has been employed by Police Departments in Scarborough, Sabattus and Lisbon, as well as the Sherriff’s Office in Sagadahoc and Cumberland counties. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Maine at Augusta and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University. Over the course of his career, Scott has worked in an undercover capacity, been a K-9 handler, Maine Criminal Justice Academy instructor, drug recognition expert, Taser instructor, Mace instructor, and Academy cadre.
