Chief Rizzo was appointed to the board in November 2013. His first term ended 6/30/17. Chief Richard Rizzo, has served as the Chief of Police for Brunswick since 2008 and previously served as the Chief of Police in Ayer MA. Rizzo began his career in law enforcement as a cadet on the Portland Maine police department in 1972. A graduate of University of Southern Maine, he obtained a Master of Management from Cambridge College. Chief completed FBI’s Law Enforcement Seminar and held the United Way Campaign Cabinet Public Service Co-Chair position from 2009-2013.  Keeping seniors and teens safe through Triad and the Good Morning Call Program, he supports the outreach services with conviction and dedication. An avid Red Sox fan and follower, Chief is also a master at home renovation projects.
