Noted painter/muralist John Gable returns to the Heritage print Project this year with High Noon - High Tide, a depiction of the launching of the ship Benjamin Sewall, in Brunswick’s Penellville. The Sewall, launched in October, 1874, was the largest wooden vessel built in Brunswick, and the last vessel launched by the Pennells. Poet Robert P.T. Coffin described the launch in his poem, The Benjamin Sewall, and recapped the career of the vassel, and the family of Pennells, in his Book Captain Abbie, Capt. John. This is a limited edition of 350 prints.
