AARP TAX-AIDE OFFERS HELP TO RECEIVE $850 MAINE RELIEF CHECK
As you may know, there will be a state tax relief payment of $850 to full time Maine residents who have filed or will file a Maine 2021 tax return. If you have not filed a Maine 2021 tax return, the AARP Tax-Aide program can help by preparing your return and electronically file it.
We will need a photo id (driver’s license) social security card and all tax documents received for the 2021 tax year. Examples of tax documents would be the annual SSA-1099 (form with pink box received in January), pensions/IRA’s (1099-R), W-2’s, interest received and property tax or rent paid.
