The state’s Protection and Advocacy agency for people with disabilities. Represents individuals whose rights have been violated or who have been discriminated against based on disability. Oversees Telecommunications Equipment Program (TEP) and Maine Relay Services, providing specialized telephone equipment and connecting individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech disabled with individuals who use standard telephones.
