Chuting the Androscoggin

This Heritage Print is a 12”X17” print of a 4’X7’ mural in acrylic, painted in 2003 by renowned muralist John (Jack) Gable, of Woolwich, Maine.  Focusing on the under-falls cove of the Androscoggin River between Brunswick and Topsham, the print is alive with winter revelers as they ice skate, cluster around a huge bonfire, and toboggan off a wooden chute onto the frozen river.  This unique print also shows the Brunswick skyline of 1925, offering a nostalgic glimpse of a lost  New England pastime.

This is a limited edition of 350 prints, numbered and signed by the artist; only about 150 remain.  Carded and wrapped prints are available at the Center for $75.00, or they can be ordered tubed and mailed for $85.00.  Matted and framed prints are $195.00 at the center or $215.00 shipped.  Your choice of Gold or Silver frame.
