DESCRIPTION:Learn the djembe with Sayon – relax into the rhythms\, songs and stories of his home village in Guinea!  \nThis class welcomes anyone who would like to spend an hour and a bit learning to play traditional village music of the Malinke culture of West Africa\, on the djembe. Give yourself the gift of an hour away from everyday life. No prior drumming experience or sense of rhythm is necessary. Sayon is a gentle\, clear teacher with a wonderful sense of humor\, a deep heart and a lot of respect. He will joyfully guide you. Drumming music in West Africa is part of the culture and includes story\, song and language. We will all help you.
