'Aging Well' Lunch and Learn: Dementia Conversations - May 22

This program, on 5/22 at 12:00 pm from the Alzheimer’s Association, is primarily designed for working adults who have a family member or close friend beginning to experience Alzheimer’s or another dementia. It will offer helpful tips to assist families with difficult conversations related to dementia, including going to the doctor, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and financial plans.

Topics covered will include: Tips for having difficult conversation around some of the most common issues that arise regarding Alzheimer’s or another dementia, the need to plan ahead and build a care team that communicates well in order to reduce the stress that can accompany a disease like Alzheimer’s, connecting with helpful resources to enhance quality of life for everyone involved and hearing from people who are dealing with similar issues.
